In an industry known for constant motion, staying put isn’t exactly the norm. But at Red Thread PR, our longevity tells a different story—one shaped by evolving roles, growing ambitions, and a team that keeps finding new reasons to stay.
We asked a few team members celebrating seven years to look back on their time at the agency—from how their careers have transformed to what’s kept them engaged (and maybe even surprised) along the way. Their answers prove that sometimes, staying in one place doesn’t mean standing still.
What’s the most unhinged agency moment you’ve survived here — and why didn’t it scare you off?
Amanda Conte, Associate Vice President: During my first year on the team, I stepped in on an account while a teammate was out on maternity leave. It was a real estate development client, and the big moment I was responsible for was an unveiling event — complete with a dramatic kabuki drop revealing a tabletop model of a brand-new building. I’d never sourced or managed anything like a kabuki drop before, but I was excited to pull off the pièce de résistance.
Then… only half of the structure showed up.
For a moment, I was convinced that was it for me. Event? Ruined. Career? Over. But after some frantic, creative problem-solving on-site, we managed to reposition the display in a corner, hide the model, and still deliver a flawless-looking reveal. Once my heart rate returned to normal, it hit me: this job is one long exercise in solving problems — the very visible ones and the ones you don’t even know are coming yet.
And getting to do that alongside some of the smartest, bravest, most creative people I’ve ever known? That’s why none of it scared me off. It’s the best part.

If you had to describe your 7-year run here as a PR stunt, what would it be?
Linda Rosenblum, Media Relations Director: I’d call it an ongoing live activation – the kind brands dream of pulling off but can’t ever fully plan for. What started as a scrappy beginning in 2019 quickly turned into a high-impact, anything-but-boring run (with equal parts integrated campaign and masterclass in staying on your toes). It continues to be a dynamic, ever-evolving ride filled with big moments, smart pivots, and just enough unpredictability to keep things interesting. And behind the scenes, we’re pulling off a mix of strategic thinking, fast-moving opportunities, and the kind of challenges that actually make you better alongside a team that somehow makes even the busiest days fun. Over the last seven years, I’ve balanced long-term vision with real-time execution, learning to adapt quickly, and genuinely enjoying the pace and variety that come with the job. Powered by great people, strong instincts, and a real love for the work, this “stunt” has been more than just results. It’s been a fast-paced, rewarding ride that’s kept me engaged, challenged, and excited for what’s next – just like any good stunt should.
People are often shocked to see how long people stay here; What’s the biggest myth about staying at one agency for 7 years?
Madison Frankel, Senior Account Director: The biggest myth is that staying at one agency for a long time means you’ll get boxed into one lane. For me, it’s been the opposite. Over seven years, I’ve been able to explore different identities and shape a career path that reflects my interests as they’ve evolved.
My background is in fashion and consumer PR, and while I’ve continued to support traditional PR efforts across healthcare, food and beverage, and other industries – always keeping that consumer lens at the center of my work – I’ve also had the opportunity to expand into other communications areas like internal and crisis communications. Those experiences have helped me strengthen and diversify my skill set, while also helping identify where my interests really lie.
Staying at one agency hasn’t limited me; it’s given me the chance to grow and redefine my role over time.

What’s the “you had to be there” moment that made you feel like: yep, I’m staying?
Karen Alberto, PR & Partnerships Manager: Probably my first year at the agency, during one of the rare all-hands moment: camped out in a conference room pulling together final materials for a major hospital opening. It was high-stakes, heavily fueled by takeout, and soundtracked by enough Jonas Brothers and throwbacks to apparently leave a lasting impression.
Somewhere between the deadlines, the chaos, and being the ones to lock up after the big final push, I found one of my best friends. Naturally, we’ve since gone to two Jonas Brothers concerts together.
That night pretty much captured the culture here for me: hardworking, a little chaotic, genuinely fun, and full of people who show up for each other when it matters. And last fall, nearly 6 years later, I had another one of those moments bringing a season-long NFL fan activation after more than a year of work. We flew out for the home opener, got to see our idea come to life – oversized Dawg House and all – and experienced it alongside colleagues-turned-friends from our sister agency. Different client, different kind of milestone, but the same energy: the fun, the chaos, the grind, and the team making it all happen.
So yes, the throwback playlist may have started it – but the people, the work, and the culture are what made me stay.
